Fishing Licenses Expire March 31st

• The shorelines are starting to open up and the ice is pushing on the windward shoreline. I would stay off the ice at this time. The pressure cracks are open and travel on the ice can be dangerous at best.
• Fishing license fees are the same this year as they were last year. Nonresident Family is $65.oo and includes husband and wife and any kids 16 or 17. Kids under 16 do not need a fishing license regardless of their residency. Nonresident annual individual is $50.00. Inland trout stamps are $10.oo. Wisconsin has short term licenses as well.
• Free fishing weekend is June 2-3, no one is required to have a fishing license or trout stamp this weekend. All bag limits still apply.
• It's time to rewind your line on your reels and get the boat water ready.
