Lake Trout action should be hot

• Bluegills are in any of the shallow channels or back waters. Waxworms and black ants or ice jigs fished slowly should start to produce fish. The crappies are around also but prefer small minnows.
• Lake Trout action has been very good for the few individuals that are fishing them. Minnows fished from 25'-80' of water are the best bait now.
• General Inland fishing opens the first Saturday of May.
