- Bluegills remain on the cribs this week. Small worms and waxworms will catch these little fighters. The bigger gills are generally deeper in the water column and the smaller fish will be cruising the tops.
- Crappies are still over the weeds in 8-14 Ft of water. Troll or cast little jigs with twister tails and don't be surprised when a smallie or walleye interrupt your crappie fishing.
- Smallmouth can be found on the weed edges and any of the rocky shorelines. Hellgrammites and small leeches are good bets when available. Top water baits and plastics have produced some nice fish this week also.
- Northern Pike action has been very good on large chubs in 28-40 Ft of water. The catfish will also pick up these chubs and give you a fight to remember.
- Walleye action has been spotty at best and some fisherman are catching nice fish after dark on crawlers. The big fish have moved over the drop offs into 25-45 Ft of water.
- Lake Trout trollers are working the suspended fish over 125 Ft of water about 80-90 Ft down. The still fisherman have reported catching fish in 60-90 Ft of water and some of the trout have corn in their stomachs although most fisherman will use minnows for bait.
